Our converted listed barn with a massive (35 x 18ft) living room, lofty vaulted ceiling, masses of oak beams, huge log burning stove and adjoining raised dining area floored with terracotta tiles and inlaid oak. Comprehensively equipped oak country style kitchen with granite worktops, dishwasher and washing machine. Pimpernel has two bedrooms and spaciously sleeps 4 adults. From the living area you can access the beamed master bedroom with king-sized 4 poster bed and en-suite shower room, and the oak furnished twin bedroom which has patio doors leading onto a terrace and secluded wisteria-hung al fresco dining area, overlooking the tennis court and woodland. From the dining area there is a floor to ceiling oak and glass door opening on to another garden terrace, and through another door you will find the kitchen to one side and the main bathroom to the other. The luxury limestone tiled bathroom has a super-sized Jacuzzi bath and separate walk-in shower cubicle.

The sizeable reception room in Pimpernel makes it an ideal venue for any occasion and banqueting facilities can be arranged. Kitchen has electric oven & ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer; lounge has 42” flat screen TV with Freeview, DVD player; super sized Jacuzzi bath, two showers and terrace/garden with garden furniture. Central heating, substantial wood burning stove. Additional bed can be provided in twin room. Towels and linen are provided, along with all the basics like salt & pepper, tea & coffee, washing up liquid etc. BBQs are available.

Cots, high chairs and door gates can be provided on request at no extra cost. If you require a baby- or pet-sitter please contact us. A designated parking space is provided on the gravelled drive in front of the cottage with additional spaces available on grass outside the barn.
