From the attractive cobbled courtyard, Celandine, the old Granary, is reached by a short flight of stone steps to the front door that leads into the first floor entrance hall. From this are doors to the kitchen and living room and stairs down to the bedrooms on the ground floor. The fully-fitted kitchen is comprehensively equipped with everything needed to cook, even Christmas Lunch.



The beamed and vaulted living room, from where you can appreciate the lovely views of the unspoilt surrounding countryside and the orchard, has the dining table in one corner and contains a comfortable three piece suite around a fire place with flame effect electric stove with glass doors, which can supplement the full year round central heating. There is also a separate w.c. with hand basin on this floor.

 

The main bedroom has a comfortable double bed with vanity unit and recently refurbished en-suite shower room with w.c., while the second bedroom has twin-beds and a full en-suite bathroom with shower over the bath. There is access to the bedrooms from the ground floor so luggage need not be taken up the stairs. An eating out area is provided in the charming cobbled courtyard. English Tourism Council - 4 stars.
