"Perfect location, beautiful
cozy cottage, you couldn't improve it, thank you
for a lovely stay, we shall certainly
return."
Sue and Andrew Baseter
(plus Oscar the dog) sum up the many enthusiastic
reports we get from our guests who return year
after year to this delightful cottage.
Tastefully
converted, Meadowsweet provides superbly
comfortable 5 star accommodation. The beamed
30 foot living room has two large sofas,
an easy chair, plus a cheery free standing solid
fuel stove providing a welcoming feature on colder
evenings.
At the other end of the dining
area, next to the kitchen, has french windows that
open out onto lawns and a paved patio overlooking
farm fields and delightful natural woodlands
beyond. In common with all the other cottages
antique and country furniture is used
throughout.
The well-equipped
kitchen contains everything required to prepare
the most elaborate meals and there is a full size
dishwasher to help afterwards.
The generous
sized master bedroom, off a half landing, has a
romantic lace-draped four-poster bed and
convenient en-suite bathroom with good shower over
the bath.
The second bedroom is up a few more
stairs and also overlooks the fields. The
comfortable twin beds can, on request, be made up
as a double; this also has an en-suite bathroom
with shower.
